0773 6405939 [email protected] facebook twitter facebook twitter home booking munro’s select page a beautiful and relaxing self-catering house on the isle of bute a beautiful and relaxing self-catering house on the isle of bute a beautiful and relaxing self-catering house on the isle of bute a beautiful and relaxing self-catering house on the isle of bute about munro’s munro’s is situated on the isle of bute, just 1.5 hrs from glasgow by car and ferry (32 miles if you’re a crow!). the island is the perfect getaway location for relaxation, walks on beaches, cycling on quiet roads or visits to historic locations. the wonderful mount stuart house, where stella mccartney was married, is well worth a visit. if you enjoy golf there are are 3 courses on the island and fly fishing for rainbow and brown trout is available for enthusiasts. the house is a perfect location for a family or group of friends to relax and enjoy each other’s company. comfortably furnished and with original features, there is plenty of space for socialising and also private areas for relaxing! we also have a cosy cinema room with loads of dvds plus it is web-connected so you can watch netflix and bbc iplayer too. the well equipped kitchen is a lovely space for socialising with a log burner in the centre and a 12 seater table at one end. there are 8 bedrooms with 7 en suite bathrooms. our largest bedroom has a double sofabed and works well as a family roon. our smallest bedroom has bunk beds and would be perfect for kids and teenagers. we also have 2 z-beds and a travel cot. outside, there is plenty of parking ( for 6-8 cars) and a large decked area to sit and take in the view. the 1 acre sloping garden is great for hide and seek and we have a goldfish pond. check availability features dog friendly – yes, up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome. 1 highchair & 1 travel cot in the house (please bring cot linen) free wi-fi internet access cinema room with dvd player including netflix and bbc iplayer child friendly accessibility – we have ramps for the entrance door and porch plus our main bedroom on the ground floor has a wet room and wide doorways well equipped kitchen – 2 large larder fridges plus one large upright freezer, range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, cafetieres laundry room with new large capacity washing machine, tumble dryer and drying rack. garden and deck – large sloping garden and a large deck with seating and table with sun umbrella parking – 6 cars linen & towels included logs for the 2 woodburning stoves christmas decorations – included for festive weeks munro's beautiful bute bute is only 33 miles from glasgow (if you’re a crow!) and only takes 1½ hours to get to by train or car and ferry. the island is a perfect haven from the hustle and bustle of mainland life. explore the beautiful beaches, walk the west island way, visit the spectacular mount stuart house or just relax with friends and family at munro’s! contrary to popular myth, the weather can be lovely all through the year. the video playing on this page was shot by andy in february! munro's tariff [[["season","dates","weekly","3 night weekend","2 night weekend"],["autumn 2018","1st oct -
